Wow. I was able to watch the Chelsea game today (first one in many weeks), and it was a brutal affair with it bookended by goalkeeper Peter Cech stretchered off in the opening minute and replacement Carlo Cudicini in even worse shape (getting knocked unconscious) stretchered off in the dying seconds of the game.

The game was held up for nearly 10 minutes as Cudicini received treatment after he was hurt by Ibrahima Sonko.

Cudicini was carried off with his neck in a brace, wearing an oxygen mask.

Here's hoping that Cech can recover in time for Chelsea's big Champions League match-up with Barcelona on Tuesday.
