I haven't been out of the house much lately due to illness, but my Mom reports that she's already seeing Christmas items pop up in stores in Hawaii (of all places)--and we haven't even gotten to Halloween yet! And here's another early reminder that Christmas is around the corner (in a manner of speaking, if two months is a quick turn round the corner)--the whining and whinging of conservative talking heads that Christmas is being torn asunder by liberals. Yes, everyone's favorite giant-craniumed idiot from Fox News, Five In The Noggin John Gibson, has a new book coming out: The War on Christmas : How the Liberal Plot to Ban the Sacred Christian Holiday Is Worse Than You Thought.
