Gay Marriage = Greenbacks

Now here's a novel argument for legalizing gay marriage--it will bring in the bucks! From NPR/APM's Marketplace business radio program (which includes audio as well as text of the story):

New York City's Comptroller has released a report that says the Big Apple would net $142 million during the first three years of legalized gay marriage. New York State overall would get $184 million, mainly from the uptick in visitors attending the nuptials.
