Pity the New ManU Shirts

The new English Premier League season is, unbelievably, just about 4 weeks away (first games are on Saturday 19 August, and Mrs. F is already trembling) and teams are starting the process of unveiling their new shirt designs for the season. My team, Chelsea, will be doing the big reveal on the 20th, and hopes are high for their first Adidas kit. But I've gotta say, after being generally impressed by the semi-retro Nike kits for various World Cup teams (including Brazil and the Netherlands), my jaw dropped at the utter crap look of the new Man United shirt from Nike. It looks like something you'd see from a local over-30 league (heck, my old team of Futbol Centraal had much better strips, and flashier sponsorship thanks to Combie, our XBox connection).
