36% (Harris/Wall Street Journal)

The Chimp in Winter

And that's down from 40% in February and 43% in January. How low can he go? Here are some more details from the AFP story over at Yahoo! News:
Cheney's rating remained unchanged at 30 percent from November 2005, despite his hunting mishap in Texas last month. He had the lowest approval rating of Bush's close cabinet associates.

Rumsfeld fared better than Cheney but was just below Bush, with an approval rating of 35 percent, one point higher than it was in November last year.

Condoleezza Rice, who was appointed secretary of state after Bush's re-election in November, enjoyed the highest approval rating among the president's closest aides with 51 percent, down only one point from November.
Perhaps that's why the President had this photo op today... Still, that basketball-crazy kid was a good story--see the CNN report on him over at Crooks and Liars.
