Resourceful

Many years back, Mrs. F was given the greatest low-flow shower head in the world. It pumps out around 1.2 gallons per minute (gpm)--about the lowest Mrs. F had ever seen in an LF shower head--but it doesn't feel like you're being cheated by a less-than-stellar water pressure (something I can attest to, as we have it in our shower). It's also got a great "pause" button, enabling you to dial down the flow or turn it off completely (if you're truly a water-saving eco-fascist... something I resemble from time to time). The problem was, she couldn't find it again (and she'd hoped to use it for a construction project she'd been managing). Luckily, Treehugger, one of my fave enviro blogs, got a tip from a reader about its availablity at Real Goods--where you can get it for just $12. It's easy to use, easy to install (hear that Mr. Lapp?), and it's a great investment (you'll be saving money on water as you help save the environment)--we highly recommended it.
