It's a Blue Day

The English Premier League is back in action after a week and a half break for international World Cup qualifying games. And Chelsea is back on track with a 2-0 win over Sunderland (with goals by Didier Drogba and Geremi, pictured right celebrating with Michael Essien and Arjen Robben). I never figured the Black Cats to worry Chelsea's season-opening run of not allowing a goal scored upon them, but I am surprised that the score against Sunderland was higher. I saw this team play a pre-season friendly against Seattle's minor league soccer team, the Sounders, and they looked absolutely dreadful. Chelsea sits top of the table with a perfect 5 out of 5 wins to start the season. And with Manchester United giving up a goal in its derby match with Manchester City, drawing at 1-1, Chelsea is now the only team yet to be scored upon this season.
