Ken Mehlman, head of the Republican National Committee, was on Hardball yesterday and Crooks and Liars has the video (in WMV). Here's the C&L take, which is spot-on:

Ken was on Hardball yesterday 8/18 and was his usual robotic, repetitive self. I'm waiting for his left hand to karate chop the cameraman one of these days. Has he been watching the polls lately? The American people are not supporting this war or feel that Bush is even trustworthy. Nora O'Donnell made for the perfect foil with her Barbie Doll looks and that super, secret, serious voice.

He was able to spout out five times in less than four minutes that Iraq is the central front on the war on terror and that it would be a mistake to cut and run, because that would just bring the terrorists here. I wonder what Londoners have to say about that?
