Report from Washington
Here's something from one of our pals here in West Seattle:

My bedroom window looks directly at the front doors of the Alki
Congregational Church. I happened to be in there and looked up in time to
see a (probably) 110 year-old woman whose spine was so curved she was almost
bent in two. She walked out of the church being supported at each hand by
two (probably) ten year-old boys who looked like they were really enjoying
themselves.

I have no idea how she stood at the polling booth, I suppose maybe she
didn't, but she was clearly determined to get there to vote--even if she had
to bribe ten year-olds to get her there!!!

It's 5pm PST/8pm EST and things are going to plan--Kerry's picking up Jersey and the rest of the Northeast, Bush is claiming other locations in the South. But, Kerry has pulled ahead in the Electoral count.
