Catch 22 Redux
London's Guardian newspaper takes a look at the Iraqi prison "abuse" mess through the prism of the cinema, comparing the incompetence to Joseph Heller's book (and Mike Nichol's film). The root cause they point to is the use of under-trained, under-manned part-time reservists who were not prepared for the duties they were called upon to serve.
