Minnesota Republican senate candidate Mark Kennedy, a dozen points behind Democrat Amy Klobuchar in latest poll (Rasmussen, 8/1), endorses Lieberman.

So does (Mike) McGavick in Washington state. He's down 11 points (Rasmussen, 7/17).

It's an avalanche. All the GOP senate contenders who are sinking in the polls are endorsing Joe.

And Republican Party chair Ken "Robot Man" Mehlman refuses to endorse the Republican in the Connecticut Senate race; from John Aravosis at AmericaBlog:

Chris Matthews asked Mehlman REPEATEDLY, and each time Mehlman refused to endorse the Republican candidate. Clearly it's because George Bush has now endorsed Joe Lieberman, and Lieberman is therefore the Republcan party's candidate in Connecticut. This is absolutely stunning.

Joe, what color is your parachute? I'd say elephant gray.
