Amen, Mr. Sutton

We give our good pal Ward Sutton a lot of props for his cartoon ability (he draws Sutton Impact for the Village Voice, among other alternative papers), but he's also a very good letters-to-the-editor writer. Check this recent rant to his local Bismarck Tribune, which sums up thusly:

Good people best wake up to the fact that they are being royally suckered by those currently in power in Washington. Republicans try to rope you in with their manipulative appeals on emotional issues and all the while they're stealing your tax money, your health coverage and your son or daughter in the armed forces. Don't let them. Our folly becomes the biggest embarrassment of all.
