It's a Blue Day

I have a number of obsessions--advancing progressive politics, turning the tide against gas guzzlers, turning folks on to cool new music... and football. Not American-made gridiron football, but the real football, the beautiful game... also called soccer. And, more to the point, I'm obsessed with the London team that I support, Chelsea. Today, they won their third game out of three to start the season and are already top of the table, on their way to a second straight English Premier League championship! Here's lil' dynamo Joe Cole getting hugs all around from John Terry, Didier Drogba, and Asien Del Horno after scoring the second goal in a 4-nil route of West Bromwich Albion (whose player in the foreground doesn't seem to know what's hit him).
