Speaking of Minneapolis
James Lileks has a great section of his site devoted to the pictorial history of Minneapolis, which includes downtown from today and yesteryear--including this great shot of the front facade to the Nankin restaurant, my family's favorite Chinese place (and the best "Midwestern" Chinese food you could get; until I moved to Seattle, I didn't know Chow Mein didn't always come with fried rice noodles and pounds of celery swirled into a brown sauce).
