Lessons in Running for Office

Don't just repeat verbatim the talking points that the President used just last November. For an example, check out this video of Jean Schmidt, the incumbent Republican running against Iraq war veteran Paul Hackett (via Crooks & Liars. Actually, I'm probably wrong here. She's most likely going to win. But her assertion that southern Ohioans are clamoring for BushCo's tax cuts to be made permanent is laughable, and I hope her constituents will come to realize her idiocy.
