Nothing to PooPoo
CNN Poo storyThere seems to be a confluence of stories relating to "poo" coming over the transom this morning. First, over at CNN (where it seems they have a lot of dead space to fill on a sloooowwwww news day), one of their headlines points to a story about how hikers on Alaska's Mt. McKinley run the danger of getting the runs because of human waste leftover by previous hikers. Yes, that's newsworthy enough for the front page. But even better is the headline:
Mount McKinley climbers threatened by 'virus-laden poo'
But the best bit about poo from today comes via our pals BigBad SteveO and Hammen, who point us to this hilarious story from Germany (which includes a picture of the incriminating evidence):

Police in Germany are hunting pranksters who have been sticking miniature flag portraits of US President George W. Bush into piles of dog poo in public parks. Josef Oettl, parks administrator for Bayreuth, said: "This has been going on for about a year now, and there must be 2,000 to 3,000 piles of excrement that have been claimed during that time."
