Selective Memory
FactCheck.org looks deeper into a recent Bush/Kerry ad (titled "Searching"), which makes use of highly selective pieces of statements by John Kerry to paint him as a flip-flopper. And they determine that the "ad is the most egregious example so far in the 2004 campaign of using edited quotes in a way that changes their meaning and misleads voters."
