Pop Goes Tahiti 80

Making its US debut about a year and a half after it came out in France (where I bought it on my honeymoon with Mrs. F in Paris back in May of 2005 -- you can backtrack from this post using the Previous Post section in the right nav column) this week is Tahiti 80's third album, Fosbury -- a very poppy affair, indeed, but with a bit of added soul this time around. Here's the very Bee Gees-esque opener, "Big Day":
