And Now For Something Completely Non-Political...

...well, maybe not completely. The new season of Battlestar Galactica is starting up this Friday on the SciFi channel. I know, I know... you probably don't do science fiction. But BG is not your standard meet-and-greet the aliens kinda show -- it's a dark treatise on many of the political discussion we've been having the past five years (from dealing with the fear of an unknown/assimilated enemy to torture to religious fanaticism). And it's got some very intriguing characters (the feminized, though still butch, Starbuck being Mrs. F's fave). If you've not seen any of the first two seasons, iTunes has a free download -- The Story So Far -- that will catch you up on all the events. (As Mrs. F and I don't have cable, we're going to be going the iTunes season pass route, though I haven't seen a pre-order for BG's Season 3 yet at the
iTunes Music Store.)
