The swelling cries of the masses have once again been heard by the Gods (aka, Hollywood studio bosses). Clash of the Titans will be remade!!!!

Beacham plans a new script that "will be darker and more realistic". The storyline will still revolve around Perseus' journey to save the Princess Andromeda, during which he must complete various tasks set out by Zeus, including capturing Pegasus and slaying Medusa.

The original, the final film on which FX legend Ray Harrhausen worked, featured a stellar cast including Harry Hamlin, Laurence Olivier, Claire Bloom, Maggie Smith, Ursula Andress and Burgess Meredith. (via Dark Horizons)
