Some Interesting Numbers
The new USA Today/CNN Gallop poll
In the newest opinion poll by USA Today/CNN Gallop, there are some interesting numbers. One striking one is that 55% believe Bush’s two terms so far have been a failure. His approval ratings remain exactly the same since the last poll (41% to 56%), and Bush’s numbers improved slightly in the categories "honest & trustworthy" and "strong & decisive." However, his did much more poorly on "can manage government effectively," shifting from July numbers of 53% agreeing to October numbers of 56% disagreeing. All the numbers seem to fluctuate except one category that has shown a consistent trend. I believe it shows to some degree the impact of the Fitzgerald investigation. The numbers are below:
