I Heart France

But FoxNews still doesn't. Here's a report by the intrepid News Hounds (who watch FoxNews so you don't have to--that's quite an admirable job) from today's Fox & Friends hack show:

On the day that the President spoke at the United Nations, the trio on Fox & Friends decided to take an immature jab at the French. A call in poll was taken of viewers asking ,"Who would you say are America's biggest ally?" Not surprisingly, 75% of the respondants chose Great Britain.

Then Steve Doocy read an E-Mail from a viewer that sent Doocy, Chetry and Napolitano into raucous laughter. The viewer voting said,
" Great Britain, definitely not the Pansy French."

Ha ha ha. That's funny! They're all gay! (Criminy--I'm still perplexed and saddened that this news network gets so many freakin' viewers.)

Anyhoo, speaking of France, Mrs. F sent me a link to a very delicious, non-newsy web site--Seattle Bon Vivant--which focuses on food in the Seattle area. But the SBV seems to be trekking about in Paris, the City of Light and Love (where Mrs. F and I had an absolutely glorious honeymoon for several weeks just this last spring). It's full of pics that she's been snapping of sights and the food on her plate. It brought a tear to my eye. I can't wait to get back to that city.
