The Modfather
Speaking of tunes, Paul Weller (aka, the Modfather; aka, former leader of The Jam and The Style Council; aka, one of my Four Pillars of Pop Perfection) is coming out with a new album late this summer, and the first single has been released to the US iTunes store (if you have iTunes installed, you can follow this link. Unfortunately, the single's cover has got to be some of the lamest artwork I've ever seen. My good friend KevvieBackRibs just got us tickets to one of his only six US tour stops down in LA, KBR's backyard, in mid-September, so I'll be flying down and putting paid to having seen all of the pillars in concert (joining Neil Finn, My Friend the Chocolate Cake, and Super Furry Animals).
